Ann is survived by Husband Jim, Daughters Linda Gayle Bollinger and Jayme Ann Buhl, four Grandsons, three Great-Grandsons and two Great-Granddaughters.
Her married life took her to many foreign countries where living conditions were not always the best but, she managed to always to make each one full of activity and excitement for the family as well as support many whom she found in need.
While in Okinawa, she established a Ballroom Dance Show, USO-sponsored show and played parts in an MGM movie being filmed in Okinawa. Her role contributions resulted in an MGM contract offer which she declined to maintain her family responsibilities. In Pakistan, she took up supporting a local Leprosarium. While in South Vietnam, she adopted a floundering orphanage for nearly one hundred Vietnamese-American children. Most of them were under the age of five. Through all these "adventures", Ann was the primary caregiver for the family as Jim's duties would take him away often and for months at a time.
After Ann and Jim retired to Hawaii, Ann established herself as a recognized, outstanding tour guide for a mainland-based tour company. In her later years, she became known as the "Candy Cane" Reindeer Lady by producing three hundred or more to distribute each Christmas Season. Together, she and Jim were active in supporting several "homeless" communities located throughout the island of Oahu.
To the end of her days, she remained self sufficient and independent and could provide instruction and leadership in any situation to get things done. Hers was a full life spent always willing to help others she found in need.
She was preceded in death by Son Robert, Sister Jean, Brother Ernest, three Stepsisters and true army of friends.
