FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Juliet Christina Ashmead Corpuz
Juliet Christina Ashmead CorpuzJuliet Christina Ashmead Corpuz went home to be with our Lord on 11/3/2021. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Juliet was born in Inglewood, CA on 8/25/1965, moved to Hawai`i in 1973, and met the love of her life, Romeo Corpuz in 1983 at Bobby McGee's. Romeo & Juliet were the real deal, not a tale of tragedy, but of redeemed love because of Jesus. Juliet truly loved serving others... through her many years in the restaurant industry, volunteer roles in her community and beloved church, and regular sharing of love, wisdom, prayers & killer desserts. She was an incredible wife, mom, grandma (gaga), daughter, sister, aunt & friend. Her unending love remains with us and we thank Jesus for sharing her with us. She is survived by Husband Romeo; Children Nicole (Chris), Roman, Hope, Caleb,& Nathaniel; Mom "Candi" Mary Yano; Mo`opuna Malie, Ae`o, & Kaleo; Siblings Michelle, Noah, Sean, Julia, Molly, Russell, Jeff, Laurie, Beth & families; & her furry babies Toto & Liko. Juliet gratefully lived her life as described in Matthew 22: 37-39. "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: love your neighbor as yourself." A Celebration of Life & Faith Service will be held on the anniversary of R & J's first meeting, Saturday 1/29/2022, at Anchor Church, 45-815 Po`okela St., Kaneohe. Visitation-9am, Services-10am, Reception to follow.
