93, passed away on December 19, 2021 at his residence at Hawaii Kai Holiday Retirement. He was a proud graduate of Iolani School, class of 1946, and a graduate of Kansas State Teacher's College with a Bachelor of Business degree. After a successful career he finally retired as Director of Purchasing for Times Supermarket. Richard enjoyed golf and travelling (Europe, Asia, the east coast, and his favorite, the 9th island). Richard was predeceased by: parents, Tamaichi and Mitsuyoshi (Shimamoto) Sakimoto; brothers, Yuzuru and Paul Sakimoto; sisters, Michiko Iwai, Hilda Ohta, Beatrice Kuriki. He is survived by his wife, Edna M, and sister Mae Sur (William), and numerous nephews and nieces. Private services due to COVID. Arrangements Provided By:
