81, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on December 6, 2021. She was born in Kahuku, HI, and graduated from Leilehua High School. Virgie raised her family in Pearl City, and upon retirement from Hickam AFB Commissary, she relocated to Las Vegas.In October 2021, she went to Hawaii for a final visit. She spent her time reminiscing, visiting family, enjoying the scenery, and most importantly, eating at all of her favorite local spots.
She is survived by her husband, Jose Samiano, Jr.; daughters, Lee Anne Castro and Kristine Samiano; brothers, Raymond and Gregory Aguado; sisters, Josephine Valdez, Armelina Hightower, and Linda Lee; Grandchildren, Tyler and Alanna Castro, Shayna, Matthew and Travis Perales.
Services will be held at Mililani Memorial Park on February 11, 2022, at 10:00 am under COVID-19 restrictions.
