91, of Pearl City, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2021 in Port Angeles, Washington surrounded by her sons and family. She was born on July 27, 1930 in Honomu, Hawaii. Graduate of Hilo High School, she retired as a supervisor for Kaiser Permanente for 37 years.Miyako is survived by her sons, Shelton N. Yano (Ruby) and John S. Yano (Judy), and her two grandsons Jason K.R. Yano and Everett Y. Yano (Maricruz). Miyako was predeceased by her husband Paul "PY" Yano, and her beloved son Mark K. Yano (Janice).
She will rest forever in our hearts and memories which we hope to share in the celebration of her life on Sunday (February 20, 2022) at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Visitations at 3:15 p.m., Services at 4 p.m. and reception to follow. Aloha or Casual Attire (please bring I.D. with proof of vaccination and masked).
