74He was very generous to loved ones and those who were close to him; yet, he never wanted the attention on himself. He loved travelling to various places, with Las Vegas being his favorite place to go.
He is survived by his wife Stefanie Tateishi; daughter Cathy (Graham) Wong; grandson Zachery Furutani; brothers Miles (Lynette) and Dean (Charlene) Furutani; sister Wanda (Kane) Kaneshiro; fur babies Kenny, Jennie, and Cocoa; family in-laws; cousins, nephews & nieces; and many dear friends who were like family.
Per his request, there will not be a funeral service. In lieu of koden, please consider a donation in memory of Gary to his favorite non-profit organization, The Hawaiian Humane Society, or a charity of your choice.
