In October 1948, Maria Dolores married a handsome and dashing American citizen, Hospicio Cacal Bolosan. Arriving as a lovely young bride, "Loling" came to love and live in the Territory of Hawaii where she raised her family.
She will be remembered for her culinary skills in her humble kitchen at home.
With many prayers and God's healing, Dolores truly loved the Lord and gave her life to Christ and read her Bible daily. She was a member of the Filipino Assemblies of the First-Born Church and Hawaii Bible Institute, the choir and women's group. She devoted her service to the Lord in the church's soup kitchen helping to prepare meals for annual church conventions.
Dolly worked with the State of Hawaii as a care home operator; Spencecliff Restaurant and Bakery; and as a food preparer with Lagoon Marriott Airline Catering and Host International before retirement.
Dolly is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Filomeno Sagadraca, Manuel Sagadraca; her sister, Erlinda Segundo; great-grandchildren, Geoffrey Imamura and Caydence Fredeluces.
Dolly is survived by 1 son, James Hospicio Bolosan; 3 daughters, Carol Jean (William) Hardin, Betty Joy (Jonathan) Wax and Lorna Madelene (Angel) Fredeluces; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grand- children who lovingly call her "Gigi" (Great-Grandmother);
7 brothers and sisters, Agustin Sagadraca, Domingo Sagadraca; Mariquita Mercado, Felisa Morales, Susana Visitation, Evelyn Balauro, Lee Sagadraca; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be on Thursday March 3, 2022 at Valley of the Temples Mortuary. Visitation will be from 10:00am-12:45pm with service to begin at 11:00am. There will be a burial to follow at 1:00pm at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
