Alex connected with people through his love of golf, watching college basketball, football, and Korean drama, traveling and volunteer coaching for youth basketball. He enjoyed spending time with friends, and will be missed for his infectious laugh and smile. He is remembered by friends as someone always there to give his time to listen and help in any way possible. He was a generous soul known for his jovial personality.
Alex was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Wah Toy and Mrs. Po Yuk Seto. He is survived by sisters Marcella (Dr. Galen Chock) of Honolulu and Nanette (Jon Hale) of Portland, Oregon; brothers Benjamin Seto of Portland, Oregon and Colbert (Lori) Seto of Honolulu; nephews Christopher Chock and Connor Seto and nieces Margot Chock, Madison Seto, Mirabelle and Olivia Hale; along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Services will be held on June 14, 2022 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa on 712 N. School Street in Honolulu. Visitation from 10am followed by mass at 11am - Noon. Inurnment to follow at 12:45pm at the Nuuanu Memorial Park, Iris room. The family request that all who attend wear a mask covering nose and mouth.
