Mitsuo "Mits" Honda, 100, of Pearl City, Hawaii, formerly of Wahiawa, passed in his sleep January 11, 2022. A proud 442 RCT WWII vet, recipient of the Purple Heart, La Légion d'honneur, & The Congressional Gold Medal. Survived by wife, Mildred T. Honda; daughter, June (Sheldon Yano) Misaki; son, Jay (Julie) Honda; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, Leighton Kia'iokalani Mitsuo Misaki; brother, Sadao (Jean) Honda. Private services.
