Roman Kalai Chai 80, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away at home in Nanakuli February 25, 2022. He worked for 'The Bus' for 22 years and retired in 2004. He had many hobbies but playing, listening to Hawaiian music and Sports was his favorite, especially UH sports. Knowing our Papa, you would know him as Mr. Aloha, always trying to lend a helping hand and making everyone laugh with his jokes. He will be truly be missed. He Survived by Wife: Ginger P. Chai, Sister: Sharron Dickerson (Larry), Brothers: Humphrey Chai (Pearl), Vannatti Chai, Sons: Clinton (Linda), Joseph (Marcella), Bobby, Ernest (Mel), Daughters: Tammy (James), Joy Kanekoa, Lisa Kai, 23 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren. We will be having a Celebration of Life March 19, 2022, Service: 11:00am with Lunch to follow. Its going to be at our home in Nanakuli, 89-164 Kauwahi Ave. Waianae HI, 96792.
