FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Daniel Hiroki Uyeunten, DPT, MBA
Daniel Hiroki Uyeunten, DPT, MBAPassed away on November 7, 2021 at 43 years of age. He was a former Executive Director at the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, Administrator at Oahu Home Healthcare, and Director of Therapy at Oahu Home Healthcare. Daniel specialized in neurological pathologies such as stroke, spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. He then created Keola Mobile Therapy in 2020.

In addition to his love of golf, Daniel was an avid canoe paddler and had been the top steersman for the Kamehameha Canoe Club and Hui Lanakila Canoe Club. He also gained recognition as the ILH Coach of the Year for Canoe Paddling in 2001.

Daniel is survived by his parents, David and Pamela Uyeunten, his brother Randal (Jamie) Uyeunten, his young children, Natalie and Nathaniel, and their mother Maria, many uncles, aunties and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Central Union Church, Honolulu Campus, on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 3:00-5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family humbly and respectfully requests gifting in support of his children's education.

Daniel has healed and touched the lives of many people
throughout his life. His humor, wit, and caring heart will be
truly and deeply missed by all.
