Jeffrey K. Watanabe, of Honolulu, passed away on February 16, 2022 at the age of 78. Born in Honolulu, he graduated from Kaimuki High School in 1961 and the University of Hawaii. As a Certified Public Accountant, he held many jobs in public accounting firms, supermarkets, hotels, and private businesses. After he retired, he was able to spend more time with his children and grandchildren. Going on family trips and attending his grandchildren's musical performances and sports activities were his favorite pastimes. An Aiea resident for many years, he and his wife recently moved to Honolulu to live with their son and family. Jeffrey is survived by his wife June, three children, Karen (David Sailor), Joanne, and Randall (Crystal), eight grandchildren, Jacey, Marita, Harrison, Jaron, Janelle, Kami, Brandon, and Chase, and sister Diane Yamashita of Las Vegas. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Private services were held. No koden.
