98, peacefully passed away on February 5, 2022, at his home in Kaimuki. Born on September 26, 1923 in Kaia'akea North Hilo. He was the last remaining owner of the popular "Chunky's Drive Inn". He was predeceased by his loving wife Ruth Hanae Higa. Katsutoshi is survived by his children Cheryl Kuroda, Jean Kaneshiro and Leslie Uchida; grandchildren Chris Omoto, Ross (Tiffany) and Renee Uchida; great- grandchildren Michael "Katsutoshi", Matthew and Mark Omoto, Austin Uchida, Kaylee and Kodee Kato; sister Blossom Koizumi and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his caregivers Anna Rhodan and Patricia Ching for being so loving and caring. Private services.
