Linda May Johnson
Linda May Johnson, 48, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on February 15, 2022. Linda was born on March 27, 1973 to Noriko Hosoda and Stuart M. Johnson in Yokohama, Japan. Linda attended St. Elizabeth School and Our Savior Lutheran. After graduating high school from Mid-Pacific Institute in 1992, she went on to study liberal arts at Bradley University in Illinois. Linda loved to play piano, dance hula, and spend time with friends and family. As a teen and in her youth, she was part of several hula shows in Waikiki. Linda is survived by her brother, Steven H. Burke and her step-father Butch Burke.
Services will be held for family and friends at Central Union Church on her birthday, Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m., followed by a public celebration of life at Magic Island at 5:30 p.m. Linda's family is asking for support in proposing a new bill that will address some of the challenges of mental health in Hawaii, which will be forthcoming. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to the Linda M.
