82, of Makawao, Maui, died peacefully on January 17, 2022. Patricia was also a long time resident of Kailua for 64 years. Patricia was born on December 16, 1939 and was the daughter of the late James and Anita Marciel Sr. Patricia graduated in the second graduation class of Kailua High School in 1958. She retired as a Director of Payroll from Defense Finance and Accounting Services Ford Island after 30 years of civil service. She was an avid bowler and loved to golf. She is survived by her husband Juan "Mendy" Mendiola, stepchildren Suzanne Apo, John Mendiola (deceased) Debbie, William and Rodney Mendiola. Grandson Corey Apo (Kawehi), Great-Granddaughter Anela and 1 Great-Great-Grandson. Brothers James Marciel Jr (deceased), Thomas Marciel of Alaska, Freeman Allen (deceased). Sister Anita Williams (deceased) and Dotchie (Bob) Alo (deceased). Many nieces and nephews and loving cousins. Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at St. Anthony's Parish in Kailua. Visitation/Service: 10am. Mass: 11am. Private Burial at the Veteran's Cemetery in Kaneohe will be at a later date. Masks are required.
