Violet “Marianne” Chock Lum
Violet Violet "Marianne" Chock Lum, of Honolulu, 91, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2022. She was born on June 28, 1930 to Apan and Sai Yuen Chock. She lovingly raised a family of five children, and is survived by her three daughters Leanne (Bruce) Hashimoto, Cheryl (Terence) Yeh, and Donna (Derek) Mau; and her two sons Ron (Lena) Lum, and Stanford (Elsie) Lum. She is also survived by her five grandsons: Harrison, Douglas, Davis, Gavin, and Joshua.

Marianne was a graduate of Maryknoll School. She was an active member of, and previously served as President of the Chinese Catholic Club Of Honolulu. She worked at Liberty House as a sales associate and a payroll clerk. She also worked at and was on the Board Of Directors of the Libhouse Employees Federal Credit Union, which later became Island Tradition Federal Credit Union. Marianne enjoyed dancing the hula, crafting, playing hanafuda card games and mahjong, and playing the ukulele.

Private services were held.
