97, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on February 25, 2022. Born in 1924 in Puunene, Maui, she was the third oldest of nine children.She enjoyed her arts and crafts, gardening, traveling and making new friends. Widowed in 1974, she devoted her life to raising her family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kiyoshi. She is survived by her sons, Robert, Thomas and Howard Miyahira; daughter Karen (Verne) Kanbe; siblings Sidney (Mary) Kohatsu, Jane (Albert) Watanabe, Suemi Inouye, and Michie Shiroma.
