Ann was born in Honolulu on January 21, 1943 and never desired to live anywhere else but Hawaii. She was proud to have been in the first graduating class of Kalani High School and also graduated from Cannon School of Business. She held administrative assistant positions at City Mill, Dean Witter, GECC Leasing, Maui Divers Jewelry and Tropical Rent-A-Car. In 1987, she returned to Maui Divers Jewelry, the defining job of her career. She was promoted to credit manager and corporate secretary and retired from the company after 32 years of outstanding work. She was well liked and respected by everyone she encountered and she contributed much to the growth and success of Maui Divers.
Being with family and friends were Ann's greatest pleasure. She looked forward to family gatherings and occasional breakfasts with her siblings at various restaurants. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends at luncheons and dinners or just catching up over a cup of coffee. Her generosity, thoughtfulness and kind heart has touched many of us.
Ann loved to cook, and everyone especially raved about her delicious desserts. She enjoyed travel and San Francisco was her favorite city where she would go shopping and to wonderful restaurants. She took up running/walking and participated in dozens of races including the famous Bay to Breakers race in San Francisco. She also played golf which she loved very much. During her leisure time Ann loved to play golf, watch Korean dramas, and go to the movies.
