95, a marine biologist - NOAA, volunteer docent at Hanauma Bay, world traveler, scientific consultant for Kona Billfish tournament and veteran, died on October 27, 2021.
Born in Hilo, he enjoyed singing with the Barbershop Quartet, playing tennis, hiking and ballroom dancing.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Linda; son Charles; daughters Donna and Pamela; grandson, Alex; sister, Doris Chun.
