57, of Kahalu'u, Oahu, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2021. Skip, as he was affectionally called, was born on June 15, 1964. He lived most of his life in his beloved Kahaluu. He enjoyed working with his colleagues at MCCS Logistics Team on MCBH. Skip will always be remembered for his kind heart and aloha that he shared so generously. Skip is preceded in death by his mother, Laurita "Tiny" Mulder and is survived by his father, Louis "Baby Lui" Ho'okano, Sr., siblings Deborah (Britt) Nishijo, Donda (Scott) Starkey, Logan Ho'okano, Lance Ho'okano, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life to be held on Thursday, April 14, 2021 from 5pm - 8pm at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, Lower Chapel. A private scattering of ashes to be held on a later date.
