Wendy Emiko KauliaThe "Karaoke Queen," was born on September 11, 1963 in Honolulu and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 7, 2022 in Waipahu. She was 58 years old. The youngest child of Yachiyo and the late Silvester Kaulia, she was often described as a hardworking, independent "Superwoman" who loved singing karaoke. Wendy was a retired Investigator for the Office of Consumer Protection. Prior to that, she worked for the Legal Aid Society and First Insurance Company.

Wendy is survived by her mother Yachiyo "Jean"; brothers Andrew and Kurtis "Shige"; daughter Valerie Narte; niece Kassandra Nolan; and numerous extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her father Silvester, and sister Karlette.

Private services were held at Diamond Head Memorial Park on April 2, 2022.
