Denise Maloon Ishizu passed away on January 5, 2022. Denise was proudly 5th generation Californian, born in Lodi, CA, and moved to Petaluma, CA when she was 10 years old. Denise was a graduate of Petaluma High School, UC Irvine, and Wagner Univerity. She lived in Japan for nearly 20 years before moving to Hawaii. She loved Jesus, dance, and her family. Denise is survived by her husband of 39 years, Wesley Ishizu, daughters Christina Bolzman (Nicholas) and Alyssa Ishizu, sons Mark Ishizu and Steven Ishizu (Averi), and grand- children Luthien and Scipio. A celebration of life service will be held and livestreamed at New Life Christian Fellowship of Petaluma, CA, on April 22 at 6pm PST.
