Joan Severs White died Friday, April 8, 2022 in her 94th year of natural causes. Joan was a people person, known for her lively intelligence, bridge-playing skill, genuine interest and concern for her friends and family and even casual acquaintances, her plucky resolve to face whatever life would throw at her, and her insatiable appetite for travel. She leaves behind daughter Melanie, husband Bobby, and grandsons Keoni, Kekoa, and Keawe, all of Ewa Beach HI; also from the Canadian branch of the family, daughter Stephanie, grandson Jesse, wife Kathleen, and great-grandchildren Miriam, Talia, and Caleb, all of Ottawa ON, and grandson Keith, wife Anne, and great-granddaughters Maddie, Cora, and Lillie now of Yarmouth ME. Many thanks to the staff of the Ilima for several years of attentive service. Many thanks for the invaluable aid and assistance of Islands Hospice.
