Was born in Hawaii on May 18, 1924. Katherine was 97 and passed at Straub Medical Hospital on March 15, 2022. She was married to John Marques Silva Jr (deceased) on June 6, 1942. Katherine is survived by her daughter Patricia B. Pinho; 1 grandchild Tricia A. Bradley; 3 great-grandchildren Olivia, Ella and Luke Bradley. Katherine was born at Kaiakea, Hawaii, daughter of John Carvalho de' Arruda and Mary Castello and was baptized on June 1, 1924 in the Roman Catholic Church of Waikaumalo (Ninole). Katherine survived 5 sisters (Dorothy, Meta, Thelma, Josephine, and Mary Jayne) and has 1 surviving brother (John). Katherine's family moved to Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii in 1929. Services will be held for family and friends at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (96821) on May 4, 2022 at 10:30am (visitation) followed by a mass at 11:30am. A luncheon will follow at 1:00pm at Diamond Head Mortuary (18th ave) and burial will be at 2:00pm at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Arrangements Provided By:
