Mitsuko "Mitzi" Heidtke on April 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family, joined her husband John in heaven. As a young child she endured many hardships as a Hiroshima bomb survivor (Hibakusha), but that did not stop her from living a life full of love and happiness. In Japan, she met and married the love of her life John and soon after had their first child James. They moved to Hawaii to begin a new journey where they had daughter Patsy, son Jeffrey and raised their family in beautiful Kaneohe. Mitzi enjoyed a career in retail with Duty Free Shoppers, Shirokiya, Liberty House and Macys but her true passions were traveling, shopping, Japanese food, watching Disney movies and being with family. She made many cherished friends in her lifetime and always made a positive impact on others with her pure heart and smile that lit up any room. Mitzi is survived by son James Heidtke, daughter Patsy (Brian) Derby, son Jeffrey (Janel) Heidtke and her six grandchildren; Tarina, Jordan, Jeremy, Tate, Jacob and Jasmine. Arrangements Provided By:
