Lois Sakamoto Nichols, 81 passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on April 4, 2022.Born on February 27, 1941 to Shigeru and Aiko Sakamoto. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Nichols, brother, Milton Sakamoto (Lani), and her three children: Gerald Nichols, Jr. (Jeanine), Neil Nichols (Christine), and Marcy Vien (Derek). Lois is blessed with nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graduate of Kaimuki High School and University of Hawaii, Manoa. Dedicated teacher for over 30 years, active member and Sunday school teacher at Island Family Christian Church. She is a servant of God.
Private services were held at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Family requests no flowers, gifts, monetary gifts or koden.
