73, passed away on April 28, 2022. Raised in Waikiki in a musical family, he loved to surf, paddled & played sports. At Kaimuki High, he played fullback setting football yardage records. Music was his center, recording & singing with his famous father, ukulele virtuoso, Jesse Kalima. Later years, he played with several groups including 10 years with Danny Kaleikini at the Kahala Hilton, music at night, it was "huki-pau" with the City Refuse gang at day. He leaves behind wife, Dawn Sheldon; his son, Dana Jr. (Kari); stepsons, John (Charmaine) & Justin (Lorinda) Aeto; grandkids, Dylan & Alexa; mother, Dorothy Kalima; brother Jesse Kalima, Jr. (Margaret); sisters, Marsha Kapu & Andrea (Andre) Lopez.
