69, of Lihue, passed away April 18, 2022 in Honolulu. He was born October 19, 1952 in Honolulu, HI to George and Gladys Ching. Upon graduating class of 1970 from St. Louis School, he began his career in real estate. He was very passionate about his career in commercial real estate, and his most recent role as a Senior Vice President at Chaney Brooks. He had also previously worked with Marcus & Associates, and Coldwell Banker on both Oahu and Kauai. He enjoyed many hobbies in life, including travel, golf, fishing, and music. His brief battle with cancer ended on April 18th. He is survived by his son, Ross; brothers, Wesley, Randall, and Dwayne; and his mother, Gladys.
A public service will be held on June 3rd, from 9am-11am, at Hawaiian Memorial Park. His ashes will be returned to Kauai and a celebration of life will be held June 25th, at Troy's Place in Lihue Town Center from 11:30am-1:30pm. The family requests masks be worn at both events.
