He often reminisced about his earlier life. He was proud to call his home on the east-end of Oahu, Ko'olauloa, ahupua'a of Kahana his home. He was raised "old school" learning how to take care of himself at an early age, doing chores before he was able to go surfing in the bay, and honing practical and essential life skills that he cherished and kept with him throughout his life.
In his later years, he devoted his energy to mastering his ability to craft jewelry and other items out of native and endemic wood like koa, milo, and mango. He eventually dedicated his time successfully running his koa jewelry business called Leialoha Island Jewelry.
He is survived by his wife, Hanako George; daughters, Aulii (Travis) Dudoit, Yumeko George; grandchildren, Clarence Paliku M. Dudoit, Ruth Mahie K. Dudoit, George Punohu L. Dudoit. Services will be held privately.
