73Allan was a long time member of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce, served as its Chairman in 1994, and was active in the business community. He was also a member of the Hawaii Bonsai Association and the Classic Bonsai Club for many years.
Allan is predeceased by his wife, Betty, and survived by a large extended family including sisters, children and their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony was held to celebrate Allan's life. The family requests that no flowers or koden be given in accordance with his wishes.
The family wishes to thank Allan's many friends for enriching his life and providing companionship, support, and love.
