103, of Keaau, HI, formerly of Kaneohe, Oahu, passed away on May 13, 2022 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Glenwood, Hawaii, she was retired from Times Supermarket and a member of Windward Church of the Nazarene. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond Kazuo Sakamoto, she is survived by her children, Georgia Takasane, Stephen (Joy) Sakamoto, Iris (Stephen) Carter, Val (Linda) Sakamoto, Irvin (Doreen) Sakamoto; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Hideko Tanaka, Catherine (Masami) Hironaka, Andrew Fujisaki, and Pearl (Stanley) Takasane; sister- in-law, Toshiko Fujisaki; numerous nieces and nephews. Private services will be held on June 21, 2022, followed by burial at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl). Arrangements Provided By:
