Of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away on May 13, 2022. She was born in Enterprise, Oregon to parents Effie Jewell (Silver) and Edgar Vance Lewis.She retired after an incredibly successful 30-year career at The Queen's Medical Center and served in the United States Army Nurse Corps during the Vietnam war. Sally enjoyed tending to her home, spending time with her family and friends, and taking care of her dogs.
Sally is survived by her son, Vance Jones (Traci Takatani), daughter Nova Akau (Kimo Akau), grandchildren Tatum, Landon, and Keali'i, twin sister Susan of Sandy, Oregon, and brother Bud Lewis of Eugene, Oregon.
Sally was truly a great mom, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She will be forever in our hearts.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Hawaiian Memorial Park and will be live streamed.
