It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Louise Dunagan on March 30th at the age of 82. After battling cancer, she passed peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home in Kaneohe, Hawaii.A 28 year resident of Hawaii, Laura was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Stover Ward and Sorella Dunagan on February 14th, 1940. Relocating to and growing up in Redondo Beach, California, she later raised her children, Andrea Swenson, Chimen Podrat, Darian Heredia, Krista Groothuis, and Lorelann Seitz, in the San Fernando Valley. Her children went on to give her 8 beautiful grandchildren.
Her family will be holding a private memorial July 1st on Maui to celebrate the profound impact she had on so many with her love and light throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any veterans organization in honor of this creative, dynamic and incredibly loving daughter, mother, grand- mother, aunt, cousin, and friend.
