BRIAN KEALA BENZ
BRIAN KEALA BENZKeala passed away peacefully in the presence of God and his family on June 1, 2022.

Born on March 19, 1972, Keala was raised on Oahu where he graduated from Kamehameha Schools, Class of 90. It was here, Keala embraced his Hawaiian language and culture which influenced all aspects of his life.

Keala was a 30 year veteran of the Hospitality, Housekeeping Management Industry and earned a reputation as a leader, innovator and entrepreneur. In addition to being co-owner and operator of Team Clean, Inc, Keala was the founder of the Professional Cleaning Institute of Hawaii and Co-Founder of both Ho'okipa Workforce Academy and the HLTA Hospitality Housekeeping Council. He served on several boards which included the National and Hawaii Chapter of IEHA, the Oahu Workforce Investment Board and Family Programs Hawaii.

Keala's heart was filled with Aloha. He loved spending time with his family and friends, listening to Hawaiian music, traveling, shopping and enjoying his favorite Mexican and Hawaiian foods.

Keala is survived by parents Brian McKeague, Cynthia Benz-Ahana, (Deron), Raymond Benz, brothers, Kaleo Benz, Ryan Benz, (Kanani), Kawika Benz, Jared McKeague and nephews.

Celebration of Life to be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022
at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel. Visitation 12:30 p.m., Service 1:30 p.m.
