Age 86 of Waianae, Hawaii, was born in Kukuihaele, Big Island and raised in Waipahu. She graduated from Waipahu High School and joined the US Air Force, where in 1956 while stationed at Roslyn Air Force Base in Long Island, New York, she was named Nassau County, WAF of the Year. Dolores retired from Times Super Market. She loved blessing friends and family with her cooking, drawing, crafting and singing. She loved her family, God and our country.
Preceded in death by her husband, Roger T. Bright and daughter, Kimberly A. Nahale (Frederick). She is survived by her son, Roger T. Bright, Jr. (Cissy); daughters Debra GK Staples (Robert) and TamiRene L. Bright-Kubo (Ward); 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Services to be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at
Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary, Mauka Chapel.
Visitation: 9:30 a.m.; Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m.
Burial: 2:00 p.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
