FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Gunner Herbert Danielson
92, passed away peacefully at home with his wife on the morning of May 31, 2022. Born in Vermont and raised in Sweden he returned to Vermont and joined the Air Force. He served in the United States, Europe and Morocco before retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. Following this he worked as a civilian for Boeing in Iran. He later worked for the Air Force and Army as a civil servant where he concluded his service in the South Pacific. During his military career, he also served a year in Vietnam. Gunner Danielson received recognition of Forty Years of service in the Government of the United States of America.

Gunner's passion for travel and golf launched he and his wife on innumerable adventures far and wide, sharing in the interests they both commonly enjoyed. Countless loving memories were created along the way cherished by his wife, family and friends. He is survived by his spouse, 4 children, 2 stepchildren, 7 grand- children and 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Punchbowl Crater. As Gunner was a retired veteran, the family appreciates donations to the Purple Heart Homes, a non-profit veterans-focused charity. Website: purplehearthomesusa.org
