FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

LISA KANE
On May 31, 2022, beloved wife and mother, Lisa Kane passed away in her home at the age of 57. Born on March 2, 1965 in Annapolis, Maryland to Edward Keliikoa and Mary Joan Anson, Lisa was the third of four children.

Growing up in Hawaii Kai, she enjoyed going to China Walls, enjoying baked manapua with friends, and dancing hula. After graduating from Kamehameha Schools in 1983, Lisa earned a business degree from Hawaii Pacific University. As a young woman she worked in the tourist industry at Polynesian Adventure Tours and Al Harrington's Dinner Show. Before becoming a Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant, she worked as a concierge for Holiday Inn Waikiki. At 25, Lisa married Emmit Kane and moved to Kane'ohe, where they raised Taylor and Emma. Between the two girls, Lisa drove the "mom mobile" for 24 years. A Kaiser Permanente employee of 25 years, Lisa created her own uniform of black slacks, blouses, and sweater sets. She loved rom coms, skincare, pajamas, and chocolate desserts. A loving wife, sister, friend, and mom, she brought joy, love, and laughter to all those lives she touched.

There will be a celebration of life on July 9, 2022 at St. Ann's Church Kane'ohe. Visitation will be at 9:30am, Mass at 11:00am. In lieu of memorials and donations, please consider a contribution to The American Cancer Association.
