Passed away at home, Waimanalo, HI on May 26, 2022 at the age of 83. She was born April 10, 1939 in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Chico Senior High School in 1956. She was a retired receptionist for Hawaii Teamsters & Allied Worker Unions Local 996. She was an active member for St. George, Waimanalo and Waimanalo Senior Citizen. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand- mother. She loved reading, crotching, sewing, and cooking. Survived by children Kehau (Beany) Koa, Lei (Luther) Monell, Noelani Mero, Valentine (Tesa) Mero, Jr. and Jina (Debra) Mero; hanai children Ted Cabana, Nani (John) Bandmann, John Oliveira; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brother James (Jewel) McFarland of Napa, CA; many nieces and nephews.FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VALLEY OF THE TEMPLE, KANEOHE ON MONDAY, JULY 11, 2022 (5-8 PM).
