With her passing, Daisy joins her beloved late husband James Tomio Fujimoto, cherished sons James Kimo Fujimoto and Jon Keone Fujimoto and parents Acho and Daisy Young.
Daisy enjoyed creating artisan crafts, making and designing Hawaiian quilts and pillows, jewelry, feather hat bands, haku lei and floral arrangements. She was happy to share her expertise by teaching others these art forms at various venues. Her passion was raising honohono orchids.
She is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann Fujimoto, Jade (Russell) Yasaka and son, Jay (Gwen) Fujimoto.
Daisy's grandchildren were her pride and joy and her legacy. Our precious Grandma Nana leaves Brant (Maiko) Yasaka, Cody (Nelly) Yasaka, Chad Fujimoto, Jonathan Fujimoto, Lance Fujimoto and Isaac Fujimoto.
Daisy is also survived by sisters Pearl Yasuhara, Barbara Schmitt, Sandra (Albert) Duarte and brother, Osmer Kaapana.
Her entire family offers their gratitude to our extended ohana and friends for their condolences and comforting care.
