93, passed away on May 14, 2022. Born in Lahaina, Maui, she was the 5th oldest child to Hiromu and Yuki Tonai. She lived in a quaint fishing village in Maalaea before moving to Wailuku. She graduated from Baldwin High School. Lillian retired as a Directory Assistance Operator (411) for Hawaiian Tel in March 1990. Her favorite pastimes were quilting and traveling. Lilllian is now at peace, joining her husband, Edison, her brothers Taro, Haruo, and Heichi Tonai and sisters, Sumie Tario and Naomi Cockett. She is survived by her younger sister and brother, Dorothy Crouzet-Pascal and Hiroshi "Pete" Tonai (Claire); daughter, Alda Keomaka; grandsons, Arin (Ann) Hinaga and Kevin (Jessica) Hinaga; and great-granddaughter, Mia Hinaga.
She will be inurned with her husband at the Kaneohe Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. There will be a family remembrance in August.
