Peter S. Deptula, owner of Surfvivor Media Inc., passed away on May 25, 2021. Born in Honolulu to Walter and Barbara Deptula on Aug. 27, 1962. He is survived by wife, Teri; children, Peter L., Chelsea and Cameron; brothers, Steve and Ben.He graduated from Kaiser HS in 1980 and attended the University of Victoria and UH Manoa, where he played football for the Rainbow Warriors. He achieved success in his businesses which include: Paradise Hawaii Photo & Gifts, Hawaiian Hard Drive, and Surfvivor Media.
Peter will be remembered for his outgoing, friendly and fun-loving personality. His greatest achievement was his love and dedication to his family.
A celebration of his life is to be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, in the Thurston Chapel at Punahou School. Visitation at 10:00 am, Service at 10:30 am. Masks are required. Family requests no flowers.
