Ross was born in Santa Monica, California. Moved to Hawaii in 1934, Graduated from Punahou in 1947, earned a BS in Civil Engineering from University of Utah. Married the love of his life, Marian Woodward, a socialite from Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 2, 1952. Military Service- United States Coast Guard during the Korean War.
Community Involvement- Bishop for the Kahala and Waialua Wards in the LDS church, Scout Master for Troup 108 and 175, President of Walker-Moody Construction. He was very active in his church, and throughout his community, performing service at every opportunity.
Services will be held on Friday, July 22 at Borthwick Mortuary at 1330 Maunakea Street in Honolulu. A viewing will take place from 11-12:30 PM, with remembrances to follow from 12:30-1 PM, and a lunch will be provided until 2 PM. Interment to follow at 3 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Cemetery in Kaneohe.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 30, from 6-8 PM at the Moody Hale at 68-399 Kikou St. in Waialua.
