FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Jeannie “Uni” Ibarra and Johnny R. Ibarra
Jeannie Jeannie and Johnny Ibarra married in 1968 in Waialua, Oahu, Hawaii. Together, they enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Jeannie passed away on July 11, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by family and Johnny joined his loving wife in heaven on November 11, 2021.
Jeannie "Uni" Ibarra, 73, was born in Waialua, Oahu, Hawaii to Sabas and Emily Teanio and raised by Robert "Pop" Reyes. Jeannie is pre-deceased by her sisters, Evelyn Labogen, Ernell Ono, Johnna Ramirez, and her brothers, Ernest, William, and Edmond Teanio. Jeannie is survived by her sisters Emma Baker, Tinay (Willard) Maxwell, Theresa Moore, and brothers John (Michelle) and Lawrence (Lina) Teanio.
Johnny R. Ibarra, 78, was born in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines to Feliciano and Juanita Ibarra. Johnny is pre-deceased by his brothers, Dionisio, Raymundo, Derio Ibarra and sister Warlita Ines. Johnny is survived by his sister Angelita Inez.
Jeannie & Johnny Ibarra worked proudly at the Hyatt Kuilima/Turtle Bay Hilton on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii for over 20 years. They both moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in the late 90's and settled at the Bellagio and the Riviera where they both eventually retired after years of hospitality service. Mom was our family gatherer that would always coordinate birthdays, holidays and parties at the house and host barbeques at the beach for many friends and family. Dad will always be remembered for his incredible cooking, and as our karaoke loving, always performing, and show stopping "Filipino Elvis".
Jeannie and Johnny Ibarra are survived by their two children, Zynelle Ibarra, Donlee Ibarra, daughter in law Lisa Marie Ibarra, 5 grandchildren, Jonathan, Kekoa, Kaleo, Johnny, Makana, 3 great grandchildren Camilla, Jorgan, Jenghis, and their beloved dog Yohann.
It is with a heavy heart that we say aloha to these two precious and loving souls, but they will live on forever in our hearts.
