82Cynthia graduated from UC-Berkeley, married Navy officer Lewis Timberlake, raised two children, became the Head Librarian at Bishop Museum, retired, and traveled extensively with her husband until his death.
She is survived by her son Stephen Timberlake; daughter Phyllis Lynn (Eugene) Villafana; granddaughters Melissa (Bryan) Namba and Melanie Villafana and two great grandchildren.
Services were held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl in May. Donations may be made to the Hawaiian Humane Society.
