KYONG SUK CHA
KYONG SUK CHAIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kyong Suk Cha on June 18, 2022 at the age of 65 due to health complications of a stroke.

Kyong Suk moved to Hawaii from South Korea during the 1980s, and opened a small seafood shop on Keeaumoku. She then sold the business and opened a charming Korean & seafood restaurant called Kyung's Seafood with which she held great pride and love for.

Kyong was a person of great strength, exuberance, and generosity, known as Auntie Kyung or Mama to her longtime family friends and community. She loved to get to know people and spend time with friends singing Korean karaoke. Kyung's Seafood for Kyong was a special place of comfort, community, and celebration created by her hard work and dedication.
