Minerva Leinaala Akeo

80 of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, died in the ER at Pali Momi on May 31, 2022. She was born in Honolulu, graduated from Farrington HS, and retired from the Navy Exchange Receiving Dept. She was known by most as "Leinaala" or "Lei" and some knew her as "Lani".
She is survived by sons Kevin and Kyle; daughters Terri-Lee Contreras and Kiyoko Brito; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; brothers Kanaha and "Michael" Kapua; sister Noenoe Maika, and longtime companion Darryl Hansen.
Preceded in death by parents, and brothers Joe and Puna Kapua.
