Sally Sumiko Gima
Sally Sumiko Gima Sally Sumiko Gima, 88 of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022, under hospice care in Kailua. The seventh child of Tokuso and Chiyo Koki, she was born on Maui on November 7, 1933, and grew up in Kalihi. She graduated from Farrington High School, Class of 1951. Sally retired as the sole proprietor of Rainbow Creations and Sally's Connections, and partnered with her husband in his businesses, Tommy Gima Trucking, Fleet repair, and Truck Repair Service.
Sally attended Kalihi Union Church faithfully and is now with our heavenly father. She touched so many people in her lifetime with her kindness, generosity and unconditional love for others. She will be missed by her many family members and friends.
Preceded in death by both parents, her husband Thomas Gima, brother Thomas Koki, sisters Grace Kikuyama, Stella Okuma and granddaughter Sommer Garcia
She is survived by son, Corey (Bonnie) Gima; daughters: Sandra (Marvin) Freitas, Cynthia (Peter) Comilla, Roxanne Kight, and Karen-Tammy (Robert) Bennett; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters: Ethel (Howard) Shima, Jane (Herbert) Matsumoto, Millie Dicksion and many nieces and nephews.

Services to be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022,
Kalihi Union Church, 2214 N. King St., Honolulu, HI 96819
Visitation: 10:00 a.m.; Service: 11:00 a.m., Burial to follow.
