David passed away peacefully in Honolulu, Hawaii, on June 23, 2022. He is survived by his parents David and Cecelia Cosier; brother William (Gayle); sisters Cynthia and Roxanne (Terry); nephews Ansen and Avery; nieces: Ashlynn, Alysha, Amber, and Alexandria. He also leaves a grandnephew and grandnieces.David graduated from Kalaheo High School in 1980 and then attended Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was a security guard at Kalaheo High and Le Jardin Academy. He retired after 30 years of service from Kalaheo. David was also high school football coach at Kalaheo. He later started his own business training young athletes to play sports at youth, high school, college, and professional levels. David was not only a coach or mentor, he was also your greatest supporter, friend, or "UNCLE." No one was just a player to him, everyone was FAMILY!
David's advice to us was to "KEEP IT SIMPLE" and he taught us "Every Day Get BETTER BY 1%". He was well loved and cared for by many. His smile would light up the room and bring joy to everyone near and far.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022,
St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 148 Makawao St., Kailua. Visitation is from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and again from 12:00-1:30 p.m. Celebration of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
