94, passed away peacefully on June 23rd, 2022. Louise was born on February 5th, 1928 to parents: William and Edna Short in West Hartford, Connecticut. She is survived by her sister Marjorie Comstock (David), son Douglas Knowlton (Patricia), daughter-in-law Cathy Knowlton, grandsons Erik (Chantelle), Wai'oli, and Bradford Knowlton.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Henry Knowlton, and sons Mark and Bill Knowlton, and sister Carolyn Adrvidson (Regner).
Louise was a homemaker, teacher, and member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO). She loved education, books, flowers & humor and was known for her hospitality.
There will be a private family service.
