Passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 83, in the comfort of his home. Burnette will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Erika; children Bernadette (William), Burnette Jr. (Mary E.), Barbette, Bernardine, Shanya, Shawn (Elaine); 12 grand- children & 25 great-grandchildren.At Burnette's request, his body will be donated to the University of Hawaii at Manoa for the advancement of science.
